Mathematics for Computer Science

My journey in education commenced in 2003, taking on the role of a middle school mathematics teacher at a traditional school. Over the course of my career, I pursued education in three esteemed institutions: Zaporizhzhia National University, the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management, and the National University "Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic", where I continue to impart knowledge today. Alongside my university commitments, I engaged in teaching STEM education at Inventor school. Offering courses in higher mathematics, information technology, mathematical statistics, and mathematical modeling.



In addition to my teaching roles, I have contributed to the academic sphere with authored publications, focusing on the realms of mathematical modeling and innovative methodologies for teaching higher mathematics.

I hold a PhD in Physical and Mathematical Sciences and have a deep passion for mathematics, Data Science, and Python. With an impressive track record of over 30 scholarly publications, some of which are indexed in Scopus, I bring extensive expertise to the table.



My teaching style focuses on delivering complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner, with meticulous attention to detail.

I have approximately 5 years of experience in the IT industry. During this time, I've been involved in various projects, including computer vision, recommender systems, big data processing, marketing analysis, and other related fields.



I hold a master's degree in applied mathematics and participated in the All-Ukrainian Student Olympiad in Mathematics, reaching the final stage.



My teaching experience spans over 5 years. It began with teaching in a programming club at a school and continued at the university, where I established and led a mathematics and data science club. I like to try simplify complex concepts and explain them in an approachable manner. I take pride in the fact that some of my students have secured positions as data scientists even before completing their bachelor's degrees.

Throughout my career, I have worked in various environments ranging from outsourcing companies to startups, where my role involved managing complex development tasks and systematization. I have successfully maintained a balance between technical and managerial responsibilities. I have progressed from a regular teacher to the head of the Programming and Applied Mathematics departments.



Over the past 7 years, I have applied my skills and experience in the field of IT. I possess a wide range of technologies. Leveraging my PhD degree in engineering and technical sciences, I adeptly translate complex mathematical models into code. My technical expertise includes programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, as well as development on Node.js, database utilization, and other technologies. I am constantly driven to learn and develop, allowing me to stay at the forefront of the IT industry.



With over 25 years of teaching experience in universities and IT schools, I have developed and implemented teaching methodologies that have helped thousands of students learn programming. This teaching experience has allowed me to refine my skills in planning, growth strategies, building effective teams and business processes, as well as quality control.

I possess 4 years of extensive experience as a Data Scientist and Machine Learning Engineer, engaging in diverse projects that encompass image recognition, audio classification, text categorization, and time series forecasting across various domains. My expertise spans both conventional data analysis techniques and advanced neural networks.



In addition to my industry tenure, I have accrued a decade's worth of teaching expertise at Zaporizhia National University. During this period, I have delivered courses on programming, machine learning, and mathematical modeling. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of supervising diploma projects and doctoral theses.



Moreover, I have authored scientific publications within the realms of machine learning and mathematical modeling. I hold a PhD in applied mathematics.
