Abdalla Abdelrahman is a Lead Data Scientist and part-time professor with a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) from Queen's University. His research focused on advanced machine learning, optimization, and large-scale data systems. Abdalla’s expertise spans AWS cloud solutions, quantitative analysis, and the development of AI systems for government, industry, and academic applications. He is passionate about mentoring future AI scientists and driving innovation in applied AI.

Alberto I. Vargas is Director of Inner Institute (Mexico) and Vice-President of the Leonardo Polo Institute of Philosophy (USA). He holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra (Spain), Master’s in Government and Organizational Culture (University of Navarra, Spain), Master’s in Education (Universidad Villanueva, Spain) and Master’s in Public Policy (EGAP, Tec de Monterrey, Mexico).

He is a researcher at IMEESDEN (Mexican Institute of Strategic Studies of the Ministry of National Defense), member of the National System of Researchers of Conacyt (Level 1) and of the Mexican Association of Philosophy. He is a visiting professor at Strathmore University (Kenya), Anahuac University (Mexico), Leidenhoven College (Netherlands), Universidad Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo (Perú), Universidad Hemisferios (Ecuador), Universidad de La Sabana (Colombia), Universidad Panamericana (México), Universidad Monteavila (Venezuela) and Universidad de Piura (Perú).

He is the author of the books "Genealogy of Fear: an Anthropological Study of Modernity" (Universidad de Navarra), "Being and Gift: an Anthropological Game Theory" (Sindéresis) and "Searching the Personal Body: Beyond Nature and Subjectivity" (NUN).

Entre otras funciones, me he desempeñado como profesora universitaria en las Facultades de Comunicación, Psicología y Administración de la PUCE, y en la Facultad de Derecho de la UDLA.  Profesora titular de la cátedra de Antropología en la Universidad de Los Hemisferios, así como Directora de Docencia y de Currículum  y Decana de la Facultad de Artes y Humanidades por varios periodos en la misma Universidad. Actualmente soy profesora  e investigadora Senior de Inner Institute en México.  Autora del libro “La persona como libertad creciente en la Antropología Trascendental de Leonardo Polo”, ha publicado numerosos artículos científicos y participado en congresos internacionales de Filosofía y Educación. Dr. Andrés González Watty is a leading Mexican legal expert known for bridging the gap between traditional law and modern technology. Over the past decade, Dr. González Watty has played key roles in Mexico's most important legal institutions. At the Supreme Court of Justice, he served in high-level advisory and review positions, helping shape critical legal opinions. He also led the Federal Judicial Training School as its Academic Coordinator, and advised the Federal Telecommunications Institute on complex issues like net neutrality and digital markets.

Angel holds a BSc in Biology from the Universidad de Puerto Rico–Mayagüez and a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding and Plant Genetics from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. He has dedicated most of his career to fundamental and applied plant biotechnology research, focusing on enhancing crop productivity, adding value traits, and developing R&D pipelines. Before joining Deep Science Ventures (DSV), Angel was the Project Leader in Plant Molecular Genetics at the Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC), leading the gene-editing research and development pipeline for tropical crops, and a research faculty at the University of Hawaii-Manoa, researching the molecular networks driving plant growth and development. He is an Associate in Agriculture at DSV, creating ventures in deep-agri tech centered on achieving sustainable agriculture and ecosystem services outcomes.

Angela Bartram is an artist and artistic researcher who investigates thresholds of the human body, gallery or museum, definitions of the human and animal as companion species and strategies for documenting the ephemeral. The research, made individually and through collaboration, is made public through exhibitions, events and published texts. Bartram is Professor of Contemporary Art and Co-Lead for the Creative and Cultural Industries Academic Theme and Research Centre at the University of Derby. Amongst other board affiliations, she is Vice President of the Society for Artistic Research and Trustee of the Board of Directors of the Live Art Development Agency. Her PhD in Fine Art and Visual Culture is from Middlesex University.

Anthi Kosma is an architect whose research focuses on drawing as exploration, as a means of sentimental expression, embodied experience, and poetic force through improvisation.

She holds a PhD (2014 Cum Laude & special honor) and DEA (2008),in architecture from the School of Architecture of Madrid (ETSAM) under the supervision of Javier Seguí de la Riva, with scholarships from IKY and Triandafyllidis Foundation respectively. Since 2019 is giving classes as visiting professor at the Department of Architecture at the University of Thessaly, (Volos) and during the academic year 2022-23 at National Technical University of Athens. She is also an advisor at TransArt Institute since 2020. She has organized several workshops, named "Imprográfika", on experimental drawing (digital and analogical) and graphic improvisations, in Spain and abroad, such as online courses at the Mexican platform of visual arts, “Taller Multinacional”.

Dr. Petcherski completed his PhD at Goethe University Frankfurt and the Massachusetts General Hospital researching the effects of repurposed drugs on autophagy induction in a model Batten's disease. He went on to become a postdoctoral research fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Orian Shirihai at UCLA to continue research on mitochondrial dynamics and metabolism, mitophagy, and lipid droplet biology. During that time he cofounded several start up companies with his mentor Dr. Shirihai in the metabolism and mitophagy space. In 2024 Dr. Petcherski joined Retro Bio to help develop the autophagy program.

Asma Abbas is Professor of Political Science, and Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities at Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane, Morocco (2022-present). She is also Professor of Politics and Philosophy, and Director of Transdisciplinary and Experimental Studies at Bard College at Simon’s Rock. In recent years, she has also served as the Dean of Academics and Professor of Liberal Studies at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture in Karachi, Pakistan, and the Fulbright-Masaryk Distinguished Chair in Social Studies at Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic. She is senior research fellow at the Global Centre of Advanced Studies in Dublin where she heads GCAS-Jehān, associate faculty at the Brooklyn Institute for Social Research, and teaches in the M.Phil. in Art and Design at the Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture. She is founding organiser of Hic Rosa Collective (and its international travelling Studio in Materialist and Anticolonial Politics and Aesthetics), the Falsework School for political education, Some Beloved Productions, ACCREW Caucus of the DSA, and the Common Tern Internationalist Co-op of Cultural Workers. Abbas is the author of Another Love: A Politics of the Unrequited (2018) and Liberalism and Human Suffering: Materialist Reflections on Politics, Ethics, and Aesthetics (2010). Her work has been part of several volumes and anthologies, and her essays have appeared in Hypatia, Theory and Event, Democratic Theory, Journal of Politics, Politics and Culture, among others.

Abbas is a transdisciplinary political theorist interested in the history of forms of political existence, experience, and knowledge. She was born and raised in Karachi, which still furnishes most of the affective abundances that drive her vocations. Her scholarship and teaching evince a cultivated practice in anticolonial and materialist politics and aesthetics, and a commitment to de-provincializing marginalized ways of thinking, being, and knowing in the service of liberatory anti-colonial, anti-capitalist, antifascist, and anti-nationalist hospitalities, imaginations, and cultivations in practices of knowing, being, and worldmaking. She currently lives between Ifrane, Richmond, and Karachi.

Asma Abbas is a political theorist, teacher, and curator working across materialist, anticolonial, and diasporic thought, at the crossings of politics, aesthetics, poetics, and ethics. She is Professor Emerita of Politics and Philosophy at Bard College, after the closure of Simon’s Rock where she taught from 2005-2025 and founded transdisciplinary and experimental programs of study. She is currently Professor of Political Science and Dean of the School of Social Sciences, Arts, and Humanities at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. Her work is marked by a sustained internationalism that moves across institutions and publics: between Karachi, New York, Great Barrington, Brno, Dublin, Granada, Casablanca, Florence, Naples, and Milan. Across these sites, and through her work with Hic Rosa, she builds forms of study that move between seminar, studio, exhibition, and political education. She is the author of Another Love: A Politics of the Unrequited and Liberalism and Human Suffering, and co-editor of Falsework Smalltalk: Political Education, Aesthetic Archives, and Recitations of a Future in Common. Her current work includes Anti-Odysseus and State and Form, alongside ongoing inquiries into histories of reading, antifascism, the postcolony, and the political education of feeling. Prof. Bandara Wanninayake is a distinguished academic renowned for his outstanding contributions to teaching, learning, and research excellence. Currently serving as a Professor in Marketing at the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, he is widely recognized for his academic achievements and expertise in the field. Prof. Bandara holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, a PhD from Tomas Bata University in the Czech Republic, an MBA from the University of Colombo, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. Notably, he was awarded a gold medal in recognition of his exceptional performance in the MBA program.

In his current role as the Dean of the Faculty of Commerce and Management Studies at the University of Kelaniya, Prof. Bandara provides visionary leadership that drives academic and institutional success. Dr. Barbara Malkas is the Superintendent of North Adams School District in Massachusetts. She has served as an educator for over 36 years and in 2024 was honored as Superintendent of the Year by the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents. In each of her roles, she strives to improve the quality of education for all students, particularly those representing underserved populations.

Barbara Malkas holds a Master of Science degree in Science Education from St. John’s University, and a doctorate in Educational Leadership from the Sage Colleges of Albany.

Her doctoral research studied the impact of collaboration as a systemic reform initiative in large urban districts. She found that shared leadership and mutual accountability can lead organizations to increased clarity, coherence, and professional growth.

Dr. Malkas is a 500 hour certified yoga instructor through Breathe For Change. Recently, her district engaged with Breathe for Change as a research site identifying the positive outcomes for students and staff when these strategies are taught, used, and supported.

Dr. Malkas resides in Clarksburg, MA with her husband, and their two dogs and cat. She is the proud parent of two young adults.

My work is focused on the intersections between religion, theology, and culture, with a particular emphasis on the impact and interplay of contemporary digital life on religion and belief (particularly Western Christianity). I am particularly interested in religion where it is least obvious and in cultural clinamens- the behaviour and phenomena that escape our categorizing and thus provide an opportunity for reframing how we think and approach life.

My Bachelors Degree and Master in the Complutense University in Madrid, are in Clinical Psychology. Also my first working experience was in Clinical Psychology in the Psychiatric Hospital Menendez Pelayo and later in Delphos Cofa, a private psychology clinic. – My working life since I graduated from the Complutense University in 1979, was in business. Two family commitments I couldn't avoid. First in Spain in the family business till 1987. Second in Ireland in different family business till 2014. – I expanded my university studies first in Phylosophy since the late 90's till I finished my PhD in 2018. Second in Archaeology in 2011 when I obtained my Hiher Diploma in Archaeology. The result of my academic background in phychology, philosophy and archaeology made possible my interdisciplinary Phd in these areas related to finding the earliest time in the archaeological record when human intelligence can be detected in the manufacturing of stone tools. I have published a book, several articles and attended different conferences. - The stage where I find myself now is to expand the archaeological evidence in other areas than the stone tool manufacturig, wiht the goal of publising articles and at least a chapter of a book, or perhaps a book..

Beth Krensky is a Utah-based artist who traverses the borderlands between spirit and matter. She is a Distinguished Professor of Art Teaching at the University of Utah who received her formal art training from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University and MIT’s Center for Advanced Visual Studies.

She is also a scholar of community-based art education. She holds an M.Ed. form the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Ph.D. in Educational Foundations, Policy and Practice, from the University of Colorado-Boulder.

The Yale Institute of Sacred Music recently mounted a 20-year retrospective of Krensky’s art and she was selected as one of five performance art finalists for the 16th Arte Laguna Prize. Her work has been exhibited or performed in numerous international biennials and currently is traveling across Australia for 20 months as part of the International Textile Biennial.

I am an education leader, methodologist, and instructional innovator with experience across higher education, ed-tech, curriculum & assessment strategy, instructional design, accessibility, and data analytics. My work integrates rigorous research methods, data-informed evaluation, inclusive design, and responsible use of AI to create learning environments that are both equitable and scalable.

As an expert in qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research, I mentor doctoral candidates through all stages of the research process. In my roles as a dissertation chair and research faculty member, I support students in designing and executing methodologically sound studies with rigor and care.

I am also an active scholar-practitioner, with four peer-reviewed publications in 2025 on instructional design, assessment, AI in education, and learner persistence.

As a curriculum and assessment leader, I have directed redesigns, led competency-based education initiatives, and authored the Learner Journey Framework, a published instructional model proven to improve persistence and reduce failure rates.

As an instructional designer and consultant, I create simulations, technology-enhanced courses, and frameworks that apply AI in curriculum, assessment, and content creation to support scalable educational innovation. My background as a math educator and data analyst strengthens my ability to pair pedagogy with measurable outcomes, while my work as an accessibility consultant ensures all designs align with UDL principles and compliance standards.

Buz Barstow received his MSci in Physics from Imperial College, London where his research concentrated on quantum optics, plasma physics and table-top nuclear fusion. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Physics from Cornell University under the direction of Sol Gruner, where he demonstrated the direct correlation of protein structure and function using high-pressure X-ray crystallography. As a postdoctoral fellow in Pamela Silver’s laboratory at Harvard Medical School, he focused on the evolution of biological hydrogen production and the engineering of electroactive bacteria, and as a research fellow at Princeton Chemistry he developed the Knockout Sudoku technique for rapidly building whole genome knockout collections to characterize the genetics of biological capabilities for sustainable energy. As an assistant professor at Cornell, Buz is applying structural, systems and synthetic biology to the problems of energy and sustainability. Buz is a recipient of William Nichols Findley Award, NIH National Research Service Award, and Burroughs-Wellcome Career Award at the Scientific Interface and a finalist for the Gregorio Weber International Prize in Biological Fluorescence.

César Oré Rocca, PhD, has 13+ years of experience in arts and social development. He advises the Hilti Foundation on impact and serves as a board member and Director of Compliance at Sinfonía por el Perú.

Dr. Chalachew Temesgen Jemberie holds a Ph.D. in Economics with a specialization in Econometrics from Agrocampus Ouest, France (now Institut Agro Rennes-Angers). He is an expert in Advanced Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Econometric Analysis, with over a decade of experience bridging academic research and applied data science.

Dr. Jemberie serves as an Adjunct Professor at UMGC, UMBC, and Trine University, teaching courses in machine learning, data science, and data-driven decision-making. I am predominantly interested in the relationship between performance, politics of migration and environmental cultural studies. Eliot Gattegno is Managing Director of the Office of Digital Education at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Emmanouil Avgerinos is a tenured Associate Professor in Decision Sciences in the Operations and Business Analytics area at IE Business School. Prior to joining IE, he earned his PhD in Operations Management from UCL School of Management. He also holds a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University in New York and an Advanced Diploma (equivalent to Master of Science) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens. His research focuses on how team, task and workforce dynamics affect performance in professional service operations and organizational decision making under uncertainty, and has been published in journals like Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Production and Operations Management, Journal of Operations Management and Journal of Management. His work has been also featured in numerous practitioners’ journals like Forbes. In 2025, he was named as one of “The World’s Best 40 Under 40 Business School Professors” by Poets & Quants. He is also the recipient of numerous teaching excellence awards at IE Business School and has successfully taught in Schools like University College London, London School of Economics and Political Science, London Business School and Trinity College Dublin. Finally, he is the elected vice chairman (and a city councilor) in the seventh district of Athens and serves voluntarily as chairman or member on numerous city committees and organizations, acting also as consultant in digitalization for the city of Athens, having the chance to apply part of his research.

I received my doctorate from the University of Chicago in ancient Near Eastern languages focusing on Hebrew, Aramaic, and Biblical Greek with specializations in the poetry of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Upon graduation, I worked in private industry in the field of software engineering. During that time, I gained considerable facility with the literature and concepts of Jacques Lacan specifically and psychoanalysis and philosophy more broadly. Currently, I teach a variety of public and private classes in the biblical languages, Catholic theology, and Lacanian psychoanalytic theory.

Erin Busch is a composer and cellist residing in Philadelphia. She has been commissioned and performed by the Yale Glee Club, Composers Conference, the American Composers Forum and the Gabriela Lena Frank Creative Academy of Music, Albany (NY) Symphony, Pennsbury Middle Schools, the Amorsima Trio, Orchestra 2001, and the Philadelphia Charter – A String Theory School, among others. Upcoming premieres include a euphonium concerto commission from Michael Fahrner and the Rowan University Wind Ensemble and choral works for Central Bucks East High School and Swarthmore College.

Named one of Yamaha’s 40 under 40 music educators, Temple University’s 30 under 30, and Philadelphia Magazine’s 2022 “Luminary Leader,” Erin is the Founder and Executive Director of Wildflower Composers, a 501c3 nonprofit in Philadelphia that supports female, transgender, nonbinary, and genderqueer composers. She is also the Co-Founding Director of the Gabriela Ortiz Composing Studio by OAcademy and is the Director of Music Ministry at the Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing. Fernando Tohmé is a Principal Researcher of CONICET (National Research Council of Argentina) and Full Professor at the Department of Economics of the Universidad Nacional del Sur, in Bahía Blanca, Argentina. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Economics (under the late Rolf Mantel). A former Fulbright Scholar he held visiting positions at U.C. Berkeley, Washington University in St. Louis and Endicott College. His research has focused on decision problems, game theory and optimization in socio-economic settings. He is currently working on a category-theoretical reformulation of the emergence of social orders. Tohmé has been the thesis advisor of more than fifteen doctoral students in Economics, Engineering and Mathematics. He has published research articles in peer-reviewed journals like Synthese, Theory and Decision, Mathematics of Social Sciences, Journal of Applied Logic, Physica A, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematical and Computational Modeling, and Annals of Operations Research among others.

Fernando Galindo obtained his Ph.D. in Philosophy at the University of Konstanz, Germany. The topic of his doctoral dissertation is praise and blame in Aristotle. He also holds an MA in Philosophy from the UNAM (National University of Mexico). Currently, he teaches Business Ethics at the Universidad Anahuac Mexico. Francisco González Castro (1984) is Assistant Professor of Philosophy & the Arts, the Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, and the Director of The Global Center for Advanced Studies -- Latino América (Santiago, Chile). He is an artist, curator, and researcher. B.A. in Art (2006) M.A. in Arts (2009) and Ph.D. in Arts (2017) at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.

As an artist, he has developed his work since 2005 to date with exhibitions and presentations, both individual and collective, in Chile (Santiago, Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Concepción and Valdivia) as well as abroad (Sweden, Germany, Spain, France and the United States). In addition, he has done various projects as curator, focused on establishing relationships between artists of different generations around issues of art and society. In his works and research he approaches social and political themes around the power and reflections of the usefulness of art as an element of concrete change in society and within the contingency, positioning the concept of the political-artistic. Highlights are the projects: “In between / art y society” (2012), “In between / art and contingency” (2014) and “Layers of Disappearing: 1002 of 7000” (2016). He has also presented his research in various congresses and magazines in Chile and abroad. Recently published the book “Performance Art in Chile: histories, processes and discourses”.

I'm Eranga Karunaratne, a Senior Lecturer (Grade II) at Horizon Campus, Malabe, Sri Lanka with extensive experience in higher education, research, and academic administration. I have served in various academic and leadership roles.

With over a decade of university-level teaching experience, I have taught a wide range of subjects, including Biochemistry, Basic Molecular Biology, Cell and Molecular Biology Techniques, Introduction to Forensic Science, Introduction to Nanobiotechnology, and General Chemistry. I played a key role in the development of both the BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology and MSc in Biotechnology programs at Horizon Campus, as well as in the establishment of a new laboratory complex to support advanced teaching and research.

Por ello cuando estudié filosofía en la Universidad me interesé por las ciencias de la educación, para poder transmitir los grandes descubrimientos filosóficos, especialmente en la Antropología filosófica y sus diferentes ramas, posteriormente, cuando me invitaron a dar clases en la escuela de Dirección, en el Programa de Alta Dirección para empresarios de mucho nivel, empecé la carrera de Administración de Empresas, para poder enseñar mejor la antropología filosófica y también para tratar de enfocar el dinero, las finanzas, la economía, la dirección, etc., con el método filosófico. Mi tesis doctoral ha sido sobre la unidad de la vida humana: 1) unidad cuerpo y alma, 2) unidad de la vida teórica (integración interdisciplinar de los saberes) y 3) la unidad de la vida práctica (Ética empresarial, educativa, política, etc.), básicamente en dos autores: Aristóteles (s. IV a. C.) y Leonardo Polo (s. XX d. C.). Así, desde que empecé la tesis doctoral y esa línea de investigación señalada, en esta treintena de años no he dejado de sorprenderme de la fecundidad y alcance de dicho tema así como de aquellos filósofos -Aristóteles y L. Polo-, lo que me ha llevado a procurar estar en constante diálogo con maestros, empresarios, políticos, etc., en que cada vez y en cada caso he podido comprobar la importancia de la verdad sobre el ser humano, la hondura y maravilla de la persona humana y su manifestación en la sociedad. Fruto de esos estudios son la casi una docena de libros y los diferentes papers que he ofrecido a la consideración de mis colegas y del público interesado en las grandes cuestiones antropológicas, especialmente las de nuestra época. Actualmente trabajo en la profundización y expansión del legado de Leonardo Polo, he participado en la edición de 2 volúmenes de sus Obras Completas -el N. XV/tomo II y el N. Professor Olaiz-Gonzalez received his law degree from Universidad Panamericana and his J.S.D.’15 (Doctor of the Science of Law) and LL.M.’09 (Master of Laws) from Yale Law School. He is Visiting Professor at Fordham Law School and at St. Thomas University College of Law, in Miami, Florida. Professor Olaiz-Gonzalez was a Fulbright-García Robles Grantee. He was Fellow of the International Center for Transitional Justice and the Center of Human Rights of Universidad de Chile. He served as Member of the Committee of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights for the Diagnosis of the Human Rights' Situation in Mexico City. For the Spring 2024, Professor Olaiz was the Fulbright-García Robles Mexico Studies Chair at the Kellogg Institute for International Studies at the University of Notre Dame. From December 2014 through March 2017, he was Dean for the J.D. program at Universidad Panamericana Law School and in 2020 was appointed Vice Dean for International Programs. James Charlton is New Zealand-based trans-disciplinary artist whose research has developed out of an established sculptural practice. Jim Madden is a professor of philosophy at Benedictine College. His areas of research interest are in the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of religion, metaphysics, and psychoanalysis, and in particular the how embodied account of consciousness (e.g., Merleau-Ponty's work) can contribute to all of these areas of inquiry. He is the author of three books: Thinking about Thinking: Mind and Meaning the Era of Technological Nihilism; Mind, Matter, and Nature: A Thomistic Proposal for the Philosophy of Mind; and Unidentified Flying Hyperobject: UFOs, Philosophy, and the End of the World. Currently, he is focusing on psychoanalytic/Hegelian approaches to the hard problem of consciousness and critiques of Aristotelian notions of the good life.

Jaroslav Světlík graduated from the Faculty of Trade at the University of Economics in Prague. He also finished postgraduate study program “teacher of business administration subjects” on this university, obtained a doctor degree at VSB – Technical University Ostrava, associate professor degree at FaME TBU in Zlin. In 2013 he was appointed as a Professor by President of the Slovak Republic. Professor Jean Paul Barddal received his B.Sc. degree in Computer Science at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná (2013), where he was awarded with the Marcelino Champagnat academic merit prize; followed by a M.Sc. degree in Informatics by the Graduate Program in Informatics of the same University in 2015, and his Ph.D. by same institution in 2018. He is currently a productivity scholar (CNPq-C), Head of the Graduate Program in Informatics (PPGIa/PUCPR) and a researcher with the Advanced Institute for Artificial Intelligence where he leads research in the following topics: data stream mining, classification, regression, clustering, concept drift, feature selection and process mining. Jessica Sperling, PhD, serves as the Director of Applied Research, Evaluation, & Engagement in Duke University’s Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) as well as the Office of Evaluation and Applied Research Partnership, a partnership between CTSI and SSRI. She is a mixed-methods evaluator and applied researcher dedicated to informing and improving initiatives through responsive and collaborative research, evaluation, and research/practice partnership. Sperling's work has focused on education, healthcare delivery, diversity/inequality, and innovation/pilot programming. This has included partnerships with entities based in Duke University, Duke Health, as well as community and non-profit organizations. In addition to serving as a practitioner of applied research and evaluation, she is active in teaching and capacity-building in these areas. She has taught research and evaluation methods courses at the undergraduate and graduate level and has developed and led numerous trainings serving non-profit, education, and healthcare sectors. Prior to joining SSRI, Sperling worked in research and evaluation in higher education, public, and non-profit sectors in New York City.

Professor Joasia Krysa is a curator and scholar working at the intersection of contemporary art, digital technology, and curatorial studies. She is Professor of Exhibition Research, Director of The Institute of Art and Technology (IAT), and Head of Art and Design at the Liverpool School of Art and Creative Industry, Liverpool John Moores University. She holds an adjunct position as Liverpool Biennial Professor of Exhibition Research.

She served as Chief Curator Helsinki Biennial 2023, co-curator of the 9th Liverpool Biennial (2016) and dOCUMENTA 13 (2012), and Artistic Director of Kunsthal Aarhus, Denmark. Her curatorial projects were commissioned and/or presented by, amongst others, The Whitney Museum of American Art, Centre Pompidou KANAL, Brussels, ZKM Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, and Tate Modern London.

Rocco Gangle is a Professor of Philosophy at Endicott College. He is the author of Francois Laruelle’s Philosophies of Difference: A Critical Introduction and Guide (EUP 2013) and Diagrammatic Immanence: Category Theory and Philosophy (EUP 2016), co-author of Iconicity and Abduction (Springer 2017), and co-editor of Superpositions: Laruelle and the Humanities (Rowman and Littlefield 2017). Dr. Jordi Escartín is an organisational psychologist and Visiting Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Systemic Leadership at King’s College London. He holds a PhD in Work and Organisational Psychology (University of Barcelona and Goethe University Frankfurt) and has authored four books and more than 120 academic publications on workplace dynamics, leadership and wellbeing. José Luis Falconi is the President of Cultural Agents, Inc. an NGO which promotes civic engagement and creativity through artistic education and an Assistant Professor of Art and Human Rights at the University of Connecticut. Prof. Falconi received his doctorate from Harvard University in 2010.

After fifteen years of teaching at secondary and upper-secondary level in Spanish schools, I made a professional transition to research in 2012 with the aim of contributing to educational improvement by studying the quality and promotion of interpersonal relationships in the classroom and their emotional impact. My academic background is highly interdisciplinary: I hold degrees in Civil Engineering, Philosophy, and Theology, as well as a Master’s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience and a Master’s degree in Bioethics. I obtained an International PhD (cum laude) in Education from the University of Navarra, where I worked as a researcher in the Mind–Brain Group at the Institute for Culture and Society, leading the research line on emotional education, which constitutes my main field of research. This work is complemented by related areas, particularly educational neuroscience and developmental psychology.

I am currently an educational advisor and consultant at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria in the fields of pedagogy and educational research. I have also served as Director of the Calasanz Institute of Educational Sciences (ICCE), an institution dedicated to psychoeducational assessment and educational publishing. I currently serve as President of the Fundación Acompañando el Crecimiento, which focuses on the personal and professional development of educators. This trajectory has allowed me to maintain a consistently interdisciplinary approach integrating philosophy, psychology, and neuroscience.

I have been awarded research grants from Fundación Caja Navarra, the University of Navarra, and the private company GEDESCO. My academic output includes 35 journal articles (11 in Q1 journals), an H-index of 14 (Google Scholar), 23 book chapters (10 in SPI Q1 publishers), 4 specialized academic books (2 in SPI Q1 publishers), 65 conference presentations, and 65 seminars focused on teacher training. In addition, I have carried out extensive dissemination work, including 16 educational and training books, as well as publications in widely circulated newspapers and magazines in the field of education.

In my research activity, I have established collaborations with other universities, including the University of Reading (UK) on psychological research topics and UPAEP (Mexico), and I am currently affiliated with the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (Spain). I combine basic research with educational implementation, as in 2014 I founded the educational project Acompañando el Crecimiento, which I currently direct. Through this project, I have developed partnerships with various institutions, enabling the development of university-level teacher training programs positively evaluated by university quality assessment committees and the implementation of the educational model. The program is currently implemented in several cities and schools across Spain, Cameroon, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Brazil.

I have participated in four competitive research projects at regional and national level and one international project. I serve as a member of the editorial board and reviewer for one international educational research journal and as a reviewer for another. This trajectory has significantly strengthened both academic research and social impact and has provided multiple international platforms for this interdisciplinary work aimed at improving education through socio-emotional learning. Finally, I have taught at undergraduate and postgraduate levels nationally and internationally and have developed teaching materials for both teachers and students.

I have been continuously educating myself throughout my 40-year career in various positions. Personal responsibility is part of my self-image. I have learned a great deal, some of it at school and university, much of it through practical work, and some of it through trial and error. My thinking and actions are guided by three key principles:

I studied philosophy at the Catholic University of Argentina (Buenos Aires) and completed it at the University of Navarra (Pamplona, ​​Spain), where I obtained my PhD in 1980. I have been a professor of Philosophy at the Urbaniana University (Rome) (1984-1995) and at the University of the Holy Cross (Rome) (1990-2020. I served as Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of the Holy Cross (1998-2002). I am currently a Professor of Philosophy at the Institute of Philosophy of Austral University (Buenos Aires). I have published 23 books and approximately 150 scholarly articles on philosophical topics. My specialization is epistemology and philosophy of mind. I have supervised approximately 50 doctoral dissertations. I participated in the STOQ (Science and Theology, the Ontological Quest) project at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Faculty of Philosophy, 2007-2010). Juan Fernando Sellés Dauder (Alicante, 1961) holds a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Navarra (1994). He is currently a Professor of Anthropology at this academic institution, where he teaches courses in Anthropology, Theory of Knowledge, Ethics, and History of Philosophy (Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary). Although he has taught 15 different philosophy subjects, his two preferred research areas have always been Anthropology and the Theory of Knowledge.

Juliano Vieira Martins holds a Ph.D. in Information Technology (2024) and is currently a postdoctoral researcher focused on applied machine learning, data analytics, and statistical correlation models for highway pavement performance and infrastructure monitoring.

Julie Vissers is a clinical (neuro)psychologist who completed a doctoral thesis in existential psychology, focusing on existential themes and their relationship with depression among older adults living in nursing homes. After her PhD, she continued her work as a postdoctoral researcher within the Meaning Research Late Life lab at KU Leuven (Belgium). Her research interests lie at the intersection of existentialism, mental health, and the mind-body connection. For over twenty years, I have been working in the field of education, during which time I have held various positions in universities, including lecturer, head of department, and deputy dean. With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I have been involved in various projects aimed at enhancing the digital competencies of Ukrainian citizens, particularly educators. Among such projects are the Erasmus+ project 'Digital Competence Framework for Ukrainian Teachers and Other Citizens' and the 'Digital Literacy of Educators' project, which provided training for finalists of the Educational Marathon project, a part of the social action initiative aimed at addressing and mitigating the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ukraine (as a coach in October 2020). This project is supported by the 'Strengthening Intersectoral Cooperation for Social Cohesion (SC3)' project and co-financed by the European Union and the British Council in Ukraine І having more than 20 years of experience as a university teacher, I was engaged in research in various fields: engineering sciences (pressure metal processing), computer sciences (Math, statistics, image processing), educational technologies and distance education technologies, socio-economic sciences. Since February am an e-learning expert of the digital office of the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine. Additionally, I am a co-founder of the educational platform 4People, the aim of which is to enhance digital literacy among citizens and restore mental and psychological health in times of war. I am a member of Europeana and actively advocate for the digitization and preservation of Ukraine's cultural heritage. Currently, I am participating in a project to create the digital Creative Resistance Collection on the Europeana platform.

Keith Faulkner, PhD (Warwick) has studied the French philosopher, Gilles Deleuze for over twenty years. He translated (2001) the two essays Deleuze wrote in 1945. After doing his PhD on Deleuze’s philosophy of time at the University of Warwick, he published Deleuze and the Three Syntheses of Time (2006) and The Force of Time: An Introduction to Deleuze though Proust (2008), which have been translated into Korean. He is currently working on a book on Deleuze’s practical philosophy.

Dr. Kelli Sammis spent three decades in PK-12 education with roles ranging from classroom teacher to building principal to district-level leadership. 

While earning her doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, she designed a new teacher induction program for Texas schools that was grounded in positive behavior systems, mindful practices, and educator well-being.  Her doctoral research focused on Second Language Acquisition of Adult Learners, and her thesis for her graduate endorsement in Gifted Education inspired her to design an alternative assessment tool for recognizing gifted students in environments of generational poverty. 

During the years that she served as a district Director of Professional Development, she always grounded her professional development presentations and trainings in mindful practices regardless of the content being delivered, so that every educator that she had the privilege to lead received tools for their own well-being that then informed their professional practices. Raised in Kenya, Namibia and Somalia, Laila Macharia is Co-Founder and Chair of the Africa Digital Media Institute (ADMI). Headquartered in Nairobi, ADMI is Eastern Africa’s premier learn-and-work creative technology community, which over the last decade, has trained over 10,000 students from almost 40 different countries.

A serial entrepreneur and investor, Macharia serves on the boards of the Aspen Institute's Africa Initiative, Absa Life Assurance and Centum, the latter listed on the Nairobi Stock Exchange.

Admitted to practise law in Kenya as well as Maryland and New York, Macharia holds a B.A. in Planning & Public Policy from the University of Oregon, a JD and LL.M from Cornell University and a doctorate in law from Stanford University, all in the United States.

Macharia was honoured in 2021 as one of the Top 100 Kenyans, in 2010 as a Fellow of the Aspen Institute’s Africa Leadership Institute and in 2012, was named one of the Top 20 Women to Watch in Africa by the Times of London.

Dr. LaShawn C. Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Relational Change Strategist focusing on the interactions between people and across differences where connection matters most. Her anti-oppression work centers on the effects of marginalization, isolation, and disconnection in personal and professional spaces. 

She holds Masters in Social Work and in Public Administration from Marywood University, and a Doctorate of Education from the College of Saint Mary, where she focused her research on Relational Cultural Theory's major topics (i.e. Connection, Disconnection & Relational Transformation) as experienced by Social Work faculty members who were teaching diversity concepts in graduate and undergraduate classrooms. 

Grounded in Relational Cultural Theory, Dr. Williams works with leaders at every level to help them engage the taboo concepts of interpersonal shame and humiliation to create pathways toward mutual empathy and empowerment. She is passionate about Relational Transformation and eagerly supports individuals, couples, families and groups through her practice. 

She is currently a faculty member at Breathe For Change, with expertise in social emotional learning and relational transformation. 

As the Head of Business Development and Venture Portfolio, Pharma at Deep Science Ventures (DSV), I have over 15 years of experience in the biotechnology sector, with a focus on intellectual property (IP), technology transfer, deal-making and fundraising. I lead the creation and support of cutting-edge new ventures in the therapeutics arena, from ideation to launch, leveraging my extensive network and expertise in the industry.

At DSV, I work with a diverse and talented team of scientists, entrepreneurs, and investors to seize crucial opportunities and redefine industries. Our vision is to produce “Holy Grails” – companies that will radically transform their sector with curative solutions for unmet medical needs. Dr. Laurie Hofman’s 25+ years in education include teaching and administration in rural and suburban elementary schools. In 2013, she began her career in higher education, both as an adjunct within the Concordia University System and as full-time faculty at Olivet Nazarene University, supporting teachers pursuing additional endorsements and advanced degrees. She recently added work with undergraduate teacher education candidates to her professional experience. She loves working with people who are entering the field of education as well as those who are currently teaching.

Dr. Laurie Hofman earned both a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies and a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University Irvine and a Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction/Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Her dissertation focused on the Perceived Effects of Courage to Teach Self-Reflective Practices on Teacher Stress.

Supporting teachers in both their professional roles and their personal lives continues to be a passion, and she is excited to serve as a Faculty Member for Breathe for Change College.

Dr. Leo Rastogi is a neuroscientist, leadership and innovation expert, and entrepreneur specializing in the interdisciplinary study of human flourishing, longevity science, and integrative medicine. He is the Founder and CEO of Soulspring Clinics, a global platform advancing precision-led, whole-system approaches to health. A former global CEO in the technology sector, he has built and scaled organizations across more than twenty countries and has served on the boards of public companies, bringing extensive experience in strategy, governance, and innovation. Dr. Rastogi holds advanced degrees in neuroscience and business, has received academic and industry recognition for his contributions to leadership and innovation, and is a recipient of best doctoral dissertation honors. His research and teaching focus on the integration of neuroscience, systems biology, and contemplative traditions, with particular emphasis on the interaction between mind, physiology, and meaning, and the extension of human healthspan through personalized, evidence-informed approaches

Dr. Jimmy Low is an experienced academic leader and educator with over 15 years in higher education, specialising in technology adoption, learning innovation, and technology & innovation management. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Management at Multimedia University (Mar 2023–Feb 2025), where he led strategic initiatives that strengthened student enrolment, improved research and publication performance, and enhanced faculty financial outcomes by turning EBITA from a loss to a gain. Prior to this, he held university-wide academic development roles as Deputy Director at LEARN (2022–2023) and ADEPT (2020–2022), contributing to hybrid learning implementation, team-based and work-based learning adoption, and the advancement of teaching quality through evaluation leadership. He is also an HRD Corp-certified trainer who has delivered more than 100 professional trainings, and he has received institutional recognition for excellence in teaching and research, including Best Academic Staff in Teaching & Learning and Best Junior Academic Staff in Research.

Maxim (Maksym) Miroshnichenko is a PhD in philosophy (2019) and a research fellow at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. His interests revolve around cybernetics/systems theory, enactive cognition, Soviet philosophy of science, and AI. Currently, he works on a project dedicated to the intersections of Marxism and cybernetics in the Soviet logico-methodological thought as a contribution to the discussions on AI, cognitivism, and posthumanism.

She also holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership awarded by the Ministry of Education and Science and Fomento de Centros de Enseñanza. She currently co-directs the Centre for Character and Human Growth, a multidisciplinary research and knowledge-transfer centre at Universidad Villanueva. She is accredited by Spain’s National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) with the rank of Profesor Titular de Universidad (Associate Professor)

She is a member of the Spanish Society for the History of Psychology, the Association for Moral Education, the Spanish Association for Personalism, and the Leonardo Polo Institute of Philosophical Studies. She serves on the Scientific Committee of the American journal Journal of Polian Studies, and on the International Advisory Board of the series European Proceedings of the International Conference on Education and Educational Psychology (EpICEEPSY 2020–2023), which is indexed in Web of Science. She also reviews scientific articles for journals in Psychology, Education, and Philosophy.

She has been a visiting researcher at Harvard University, the University of Navarra, and the University of Valencia. She is the author of several books, including Neurociencia y Afectividad. La psicología de Juan Rof Carballo (Erasmus, 2012), and the editor of La familia y sus ámbitos, published by Porrúa (Mexico) in 2016. She wrote the foreword to the most recent book on Juan Rof Carballo, Medicina, Psicología, Antropología (Dykinson, 2023). To date, she has published more than 50 scientific articles and book chapters in Spain and abroad. Her work addresses topics such as the emotional world, interpersonal bonds, and human freedom, bringing together psychological, philosophical, and educational perspectives. She has presented papers at more than 45 national and international conferences. She has supervised doctoral theses, Master’s dissertations, and undergraduate final projects, and has taken part in research projects at various universities and institutions. She is an external collaborator of the Education of Affectivity and Human Sexuality Research Group (EASH) on a project concerning affective maturity in adults, and of the Mind-Brain Research Group since 2019, both at the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra. She has also taken part in projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science and collaborated on others supported by the John Templeton Foundation (USA).

She has carried out her teaching and research work at Universidad Villanueva as Associate Professor of Psychology of Motivation and Emotion and Anthropological and Sociological Foundations of Behaviour on the Psychology degree. She is currently a lecturer in The Educational Model on the Master’s in Educational Leadership.

Between 2013 and 2015, she was also a lecturer and researcher at Universidad Panamericana (Guadalajara Campus, Mexico), where she taught General Psychology and Human Affectivity.

Maya Thanou is a professor of Pharmaceutical Nanotechnology at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, at the School of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences, at King's College London. Maya has over 20 years of experience in nanomedicine, she has authored over 120 scientific articles and chapters and is a co-inventor on 10 patents/patent applications. Her research focuses on activatable drug delivery systems using imaging and non-invasive interventions such as focused ultrasound.

Maya is the CEO of a King’s College London spinout Apeikon Therapeutics. Apeikon's technology aims to make novel solutions for hard-to-treat tumors. Her research focuses on activatable drug delivery systems using imaging and non-invasive interventions such as focused ultrasound. Maya has also co-founded the startup AJMmed-i-caps which develops diagnostics for diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

I possess extensive experience exceeding 8 years in the field of UX/UI design, coupled with 10 years of involvement in educational projects spanning various levels, including university and courses. My areas of expertise encompass Product design, UX design, and UI design, where I have successfully contributed to numerous projects.

Additionally, I have actively participated in the development and implementation of effective training methods tailored for university and course students. Notably, I had the opportunity to teach over 1000 students in the "Web Design" course, sharing my knowledge and empowering them with the necessary skills in this domain.

Mario D’Amato completed his Ph.D. at the University of Chicago (2000), where he studied the philosophy of religion, with a special emphasis on Buddhist philosophy. His primary research has been focused on the translation and interpretation of Sanskrit Buddhist doctrinal texts from the Yogācāra school, a school notable for having developed a Buddhist conception of the “unconscious.” D’Amato published a study and annotated translation of the fourth century CE Buddhist treatise, Distinguishing the Middle from the Extremes (Columbia, 2012), the co-edited volume Pointing at the Moon: Buddhism, Logic, Analytic Philosophy (Oxford, 2009), as well as a number of articles on Buddhist thought in various journals and edited volumes. D’Amato’s continuing research aims to engage Buddhist thought in relation to Hegel, semiotics, and especially psychoanalysis.

Ph.D. holder with a proven track record in Philosophy, Humanities, Research, and Religious Studies. A self-managing quality assurance officer who is goal-oriented, making sure that all deadlines are met in accordance with the standard set by the Institution, aligns with the policy and guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education. My work in philosophy focuses primarily on Existentialism, Phenomenology, and Post-Modernity. My research interest covers the fundamental relationship between technology and the human person and its anthropological ideals presented and provided by the philosophers of different eras. My current studies are ,centered on the Phenomenological Anthropology of Karol Wojtyla.

In 2012, I made a Disciplinary Manual for the Institution, which later became the archetype Manual for the entire country. In addition, I’m also a Member/Part of the Core Group who formulated and created the K-12 Curriculum that will be used by the Department of Education in the Philippines. Recently, I conducted research that talks about the enhancement and development of all personnel and stakeholders, which leads to the creation, formulation, and writing of the Institutional Manual for Human Formation.

I am a trained historian and theologian, with experience teaching students in the humanities and some of the sciences on subjects such as Christian anthropology, History of theology from the Reformation to Vatican I, Ethics, male-female relationships, and research skills in the humanities As a Historian and Theologian I seek to connected the historical moment with the divine. This can be understood as examining the manifestations of objective Truth about God and the person in the concrete ways of each historical period.

Dr. Matt Jordan co-leads the Integrative Neuromuscular Sport Performance Lab in Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary, and he is a researcher in the University of Calgary Sport Medicine Centre and Department of Medical Science. He holds a Master of Science in Exercise and Neuromuscular Physiology, and a PhD in Medical Science. He studies neuromuscular adaptations to strength training with a special focus on whole body muscle mechanics, neuromuscular control, and knee injury rehabilitation. Working at the interface between practice and science, Matt is a specialist in player health and performance. He has consulted with elite athletes over six Olympic Winter Games, and professional sport teams in the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB. He is a frequent presenter at international conferences in the areas of injury prevention, rehabilitation, athlete monitoring, training program design for elite athletes, and strength and power testing methodologies.

Michael Sudduth (DPhil, University of Oxford) is a lecturer in the Philosophy Department at San Francisco State University, where he has taught philosophy and religion classes for twenty years, as well as coordinated the university-wide program in Philosophy and Religion. He specializes in western and eastern philosophy of religion, and theoretical and applied epistemology.

Earlier in his career, Sudduth focused on topics in the philosophy of religion, especially natural theology and the epistemology of religious belief. His notable publications in this area include his book The Reformed Objection to Natural Theology (Routledge, 2009), and peer-reviewed and invited papers such "Can Religious Unbelief be Proper Function Rational?" Faith and Philosophy (1999), “Pico della Mirandola’s Philosophy of Religion” in Miraculum Est Homo: The Renaissance Philosopher Giovanni Pico della Mirandola (Cambridge University Press, 2008), and “The Contribution of Religious Experience to Dogmatic Theology” in Analytic Theology, ed. Michael Rea and Oliver Crisp (Oxford University Press, 2009). His notable contributions in epistemology include “Defeaters in Epistemology,” Internet Encyclopedia of Philosophy (December 2008).

Since 2005, Sudduth has focused on the philosophical and empirical aspects to belief in life after death, with a special emphasis on the epistemology and logic of survival arguments. His notable publications here include his book A Philosophical Critique of Empirical Arguments for Postmortem Survival (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016), and two monograph-length skeptical assessments of alleged evidence for life after death: “The James Leininger Case Re-examined,” Journal of Scientific Exploration, 35:4** (2021), and "The Augustine-Braude Bigelow Survival Debate: A Postmortem and Future Directions" Journal of Scientific Exploration 38:3 (2024).

Sudduth is currently working on issues in artificial intelligence and education, as well as the application of concepts in epistemology and critical thinking to criminal investigations and legal reasoning. He is a former practitioner in the eastern spiritual traditions of Vaishnavism, Advaita Vedanta, and Zen Buddhism. His hobbies include guitar playing and fiction writing.

My doctoral research focused on the synthesis and characterization of metal complexes with Schiff’s base ligands. Schiff’s bases, derived from condensation reactions between primary amines and aldehydes/ketones, are versatile ligands with strong donor properties. The work involved the preparation of novel Schiff’s base ligands and their subsequent coordination with transition metals. The synthesized complexes were characterized using spectroscopic, thermal, and magnetic studies to evaluate their structural and electronic properties. This study contributes to the understanding of metal-ligand interactions and potential applications of Schiff’s base complexes in catalysis, materials science, and bioinorganic chemistry.

RICHARD DAVIES is an economist and author. He is a Professor in Practice at the LSE’s School of Public Policy and holds the UK’s first Chair in the Public Understanding of Economics at Bristol University. He is the director of the UK’s Economics Observatory and the Harvard-LSE Growth Co-Lab.

Richard’s book, Extreme Economies, won the Lonely Planet/Stanford’s prize for debut travel writing in 2020, and has been published in the UK, US, Japan, China, Korea and Taiwan. He wrote and edited The Economist’s guide to economics, which is available in Chinese and Arabic translation. She is the author of several books of philosophy and a book of creative non-fiction, The Real Desire, which was shortlisted for the NSW Premiers Award in 2005. 'I like to write in the space between ideas and feelings. Sometimes this becomes philosophy, sometimes creative nonfiction. More often than not, these days, I'm using my own photos to accompany my writing.' Robyn Ferrell is a research affiliate at the University of Sydney in the Gender and Cultural Studies Department. She trained as a journalist on the Sydney Morning Herald before completing a PhD on philosophy and literature and taking up academic teaching positions at Macquarie University, University of Tasmania and University of Melbourne. Sarah Bennett is a UK based artist with over 40 year’s teaching and academic leadership experience in Fine Art, most recently at Kingston School of Art, London, where she was Head of the School of Art and Architecture 2016-2021. In 2018 Bennett joined EQ-Arts, NL, as a Board Member and has since chaired multiple enhancement and accreditation panels for EQ-Arts and national quality assurance agencies in art schools across Europe, most recently at KABK in Den Haag, Netherlands and TSAA, Tbilisi, Georgia. She has contributed to a number of interdisciplinary and international educational research projects, such as the EU funded CALOHEX tuning project 2020-2024, and her papers relating to contemporary art practice and archives have been presented in international conferences and publications. • Professional Biography Dr. Inoka Suraweera is a public health professional with extensive experience in occupational and environmental health, health policy development, capacity development, climate change and health, and health-system strengthening in Sri Lanka. Her professional work focuses on strengthening occupational health systems, promoting healthy and safe workplaces, and supporting the development of resilient and sustainable health systems. She has significant experience in the development of national policies, strategies, guidelines, programmes, and capacity-building initiatives in occupational health and safety. She has contributed to strengthening institutional and technical capacity through professional training, mentoring, research, and postgraduate education. She serves as a Module Coordinator and Research Supervisor in Occupational Health, supporting the education and professional development of health professionals and guiding research in the field. Dr. Suraweera has worked collaboratively with major international development and health agencies, including the World Health Organization (WHO), UNICEF, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Asian Development Bank (ADB), and World Bank, contributing to programmes and initiatives related to health, environment, climate change, occupational health, and sustainable health systems. She is a member of the WHO Expert Group on Health, Environment and Climate Change and the WHO Chemical Risk Assessment Group, providing technical expertise in areas related to environmental and occupational health and chemical risks. Her wider areas of expertise include climate change and health, environmental health, occupational health and safety, healthcare waste management, WASH, climate-resilient and sustainable healthcare facilities, disaster preparedness, and evidence-informed health policy and programme development. Her work combines policy development, technical leadership, capacity-building, research, and collaboration with national and international partners to strengthen public health systems.

Susie Quillinan is a co-curator, editor and researcher based in Peru. Deeply curious about knowledges shaped through practices of accompaniment, Susie is curatorial director and editor of publications at Hawapi, an organisation that since 2012 has been mapping artistic responses to sites of ecosocial conflict in the Andean region. She founded sala de lectura (Lima) and the Mundos habitables research platform—an initiative for practices, textures, resources, and imaginaries of accompaniment, and in 2026-27, is invited curator of the inaugural edition of PIBA - Proyecto Integraciones Bosque Arte (Peru), a research creation project supported by Pontifica Universidad Católica del Perú (PUCP). As an arts editor Susie has worked on projects for La Biennale di Venezia, Sternberg Press, Mousse Publishing, Art Jameel, Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Western Australia, the Art Museum of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Archive Books, Onomatopee, amongst others.

Formerly, Susie was also Head of Masters Studies at Transart Institute for Creative Research, where she oversaw the research of MFA students, while curating and implementing four annual research residencies in Berlin, Liverpool, New York and Mexico City, as well as online programming. Meanwhile, she lives in a cloud forest in northern Peru with a small flock of sheep and an unruly vegetable garden.

Susanne Martin, PhD

Susanne is a Berlin-based choreographer, performer, researcher, and teacher in contemporary dance. She presents her work internationally in solo performances and collaborative stage works. Her dance practice and research focus on improvisation, contact improvisation, critical practices and narrations of age(ing), artistic research methods, and improvisation-based approaches to knowledge production and knowledge dissemination. Festivals that presented her performances include: International Dance and Theatre Festival (Gothenburg), Aerowaves (London), Nottdance (Nottingham), Opera Estate (Bassano del Grappa), Tanec Praha (Prague). Her PhD dissertation Dancing Age(ing): Rethinking Age(ing) in and through Improvisation Practice and Performance was published 2017 by transcript. In her postdoctoral research at EPFL, Switzerland (2018-2021) she examined dance improvisation in its potential to rethink and advance processes of learning and researching in a technical university. Dr. Swathi Karthikeyan leads the Reprogramming Team within Retro Biosciences’ patient-specific Hematopoietic Stem Cell Therapy Program. She oversees the development of the iPSC generation pipeline for autologous therapies and its adaptation for clinical manufacturing. She previously led the development of a functional genomics platform used across Retro’s research programs. Dr.Karthikeyan earned her PhD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, studying the impact of genetic heterogeneity on breast cancer development. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University investigating genomic drivers of cancer immune evasion.

I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, India and hold a Ph.D. in Computer Applications. I possess more than 11 years combined experience as an academician and an industry professional. I earned my B.Sc. (Non-Medical) degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh and MCA degree from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. My research focus lies in applying machine learning techniques to health sciences and published many research papers, conference papers, patents, and book chapters and some of them indexed in Scopus database. I have worked as an author and editor in five books. I have mentored academic projects of 10 MCA students in Uttaranchal University and guided more than 20 students studying in Australia for their academic assignments. Additionally, I have trained university students in the ServiceNow Cloud platform, where many successfully qualified CSA and CAD certifications.

I am interested in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence and its applications. Currently I am working with Convolutional Neural Networks for the detection of objects in images. In a near future I plan to extend it to object and activity tracking in real time by working on challenging projects to broaden up my experience.

Dr. Tammy Thompson Kapp’s 30+ years in education includes experiences at all levels, 4K through 12th grade. During her career, Tammy has worked as a classroom teacher, school improvement facilitator, educational consultant, elementary and alternative high school principal, director of elementary education, and assistant superintendent of teaching and learning. Each of these experiences have continued to support her passion to support and build capacity in educators to ensure high quality teaching and learning for all students. Dr. Tammy Thompson Kapp holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and Master of Arts in adaptive education from Alverno College. She holds a Master’s in educational leadership from Cardinal Stritch University and obtained a Director of Instruction certification from Marquette University. She earned a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Edgewood College for her dissertation studying School Leaders’ Perceptions of an Inclusive, Equity Focused Social-Emotional Learning Framework in Diverse School Settings.

Her academic excellence culminated in a PhD in Service Science from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, where she was awarded a prestigious international student scholarship.

Tim Kraft’s research examines environmental and social responsibility issues in supply chains. Research topics he has studied include investigating how supply chain transparency can influence consumers’ and companies’ decisions in social responsibility contexts, examining collaborative methods to motivate suppliers to improve their sustainability practices, and studying companies’ and non-governmental organizations’ decisions regarding environmental investment decisions.

Tim’s research has appeared in leading operations management journals such as Manufacturing and Service Operations Management and Production and Operations Management. In 2020, he was named co-winner of the POMS Paul Kleindorfer Award in Sustainability. For his teaching and case writing, Tim was named the 2018 Outstanding Faculty Member at the University of Virginia (Darden) and is a two-time winner of the INFORMS Case Competition.

Tim previously taught at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and was a visiting faculty at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He received his doctorate degree from Stanford University.

Toufic Maatouk, is one of the most compelling conductors of his generation. In the 2012 season, Maatouk began his tenure as Artistic Director of the Beirut Chants Festival in Lebanon. He is currently Deputy Executive Director and Executive manager of Programming at the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation and the Abu Dhabi Festival and also Guest Conductor of the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra since 2013 and a Guest Conductor of the Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra Orchestra since 2017. Maatouk was appointed Artistic Director and Choir Master of the Antonine University Choir, in August 2005 and Head of the vocal department in the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music since October 2015. He holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from the Istituto Pontificio di Musica Sacra (Pims) in Rome where he conducted and published different studies on the Syro-Maronite chants. He is knighted by the President of the Italian Republic as “Cavaliere dell’Ordine Della Stella d’Italia” and Chevalier des Arts et des lettres by the French ministry of Culture. He been nominated by the Peace and Prosperity Trust (UK) as Artistic adviser to the Trust. As a chief conductor, Toufic Maatouk has led the Antonine University choir for more than 14 years. I am a distinguished emeritus professor of social sciences at Cardiff University, UK. My background was in psychology and I have a high profile research career in this field. I am editor of the journal Subjectivity (Palgrave). As a young child I really wanted to study art but was not encouraged as it was not clear that it would lead to a job. Even as a professor I pursued my dream and completed a Diploma in Art and Design (winning a major prize for my work) and an MFA. Yalda Sacre holds a PhD in Public Law from Université Toulouse Capitole and has more than ten years of teaching experience in higher education. She has taught constitutional law, business law, international business law, European business law, criminal law, and common law to undergraduate and postgraduate students in both French and English. She currently teaches at the Université Catholique de l’Ouest (UCO) in Angers and Université Toulouse Capitole and has held teaching positions at several universities. Her academic work combines rigorous legal scholarship with an international perspective, with particular expertise in public law and comparative legal systems. Alongside her teaching activities, she actively contributes to legal research and the supervision of students at both undergraduate and master's levels.
